What is Title 1?
Title 1 is a federal program designed to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education. By providing extra resources to schools, Title 1 helps students build the essential skills needed to meet Florida’s academic standards and thrive in the classroom.

How Title 1 Supports East Elementary
At East Elementary, these funds allow us to provide enhanced support and specialized programs that go beyond the standard curriculum. Currently, Title 1 funding is used to invest in:

Whether your child is just starting in Pre-K or heading toward high school graduation, FOCUS is for you.

Create Your Account: Follow our simple step-by-step guide at the bottom to get set up. You'll just need your student's ID, birthdate, and a PIN from the school office.

Log In: Once you have your info, you can sign in here or download the CCPS Focus App to check grades on the go!

Family Reading Center at East Elementary
The Family Reading Center at East Elementary is a welcoming space designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school while inspiring a love of reading in every child. Our goal is to support families in becoming active participants in their child’s academic success by providing access to engaging books, practical learning strategies, and hands-on workshops.
Through regular events and resources, we help families better understand the reading process and how they can support literacy development at home. Whether you’re picking out a new book to enjoy together, attending a workshop, or learning new ways to help with reading at home, the Family Reading Center is here to empower and equip you.
Together, we can build strong readers and a stronger school community—one story at a time.
